Explore Belltown like a Local
We may be biased, but we truly think Hotel Ändra is in the best downtown neighborhood in Seattle. With so much to see and do in a five-block radius, our staff breaks down their favorite spots to feel like a Seattleite.

Live music is a must for any visit to Seattle. Since 1979 this beloved institution has been entertaining fans with an international line up of Grammy-winning performances. Groove inside an intimate atmosphere with authentic Northwest cuisine and tasty cocktails. jazzalley.com
Amazon Community Banana Stand
Amazon headquarters are a few blocks from the hotel. Just look for the giant Amazon Spheres. And while you’re snapping photos, grab a free banana from the outdoor Community Banana Stand. The company’s “banistas” have been handing out the free fruit to everyone since 2015.

MarketSpice
Spice up your life with a stop at this historic specialty emporium. The store traces back to 1911 as a tiny tea and spice shop in Pike Place Market. Today it is the celebrated home to exotic teas, candles, difficult-to-source spices & other specialty foods in Seattle. marketspice.com
DRINK + DINE
Tom Douglas Restaurants
Chef Tom Douglas is a Seattle institution. Fortunately our corner is home to four of his beloved culinary institutions. His recreational cooking school Hot Stove Society is located on our hotel’s second floor. And three of his eateries are in our hotel or across the street: Lola, Dahlia Bakery and Serious Pie. You will never go hungry. tomdouglas.com
Moore Coffee Shop
There is no shortage of excellent coffee in the city. Luckily, our GM’s local favorite is also an iconic experience. Order a latte and you’ll be served a frothy work of art. Trust us, you’ll be addicted in no time. Don’t miss the famous waffles and other delicious breakfast items. moorecoffee.com
List Restaurant
Under its ruby red chandeliers, this hip lounge serves some of the best small plates and cocktails in the city. Some consider List the best happy hour in Seattle, with half-off menu items, wine and beer. We especially love the gnocchi in black truffle cream. listbelltown.com
Buckley’s Pubs
Delicious pub fare, all day breakfasts and juicy burgers keep this duo of family-friendly sports bars true neighborhood favorites. One is in Belltown and the other is in nearby Queen Anne, closer to the Space Needle. buckleyspubs.com
Bathtub Gin & Co.
Tricky to find but worth the effort for these expertly crafted cocktails in the basement boiler room of a former hotel. Head down the alleyway. How’s that for hidden gem? bathtubgininseattle.com
Deep Dive
There is no shortage of creative cocktails in this nautically themed speakeasy at the base of the Amazon Spheres. Nothing campy here though. The velvety dining room is as elegant as the upscale fare by chef Renee Erickson, so you feel pretty cool being here. deepdiveseattle.com
