Seattle is known for many amazing things, but good, downtown wineries usually doesn’t top the list. Woodinville has long held the honor of housing some amazing wineries for the wine elite, until now. A new trend of urban wineries opening in-city tasting rooms have taken the scene by storm and when you stay at our boutique Seattle hotel, you’ll be close to them all!
Located in the diverse Georgetown neighborhood, this eclectic tasting room used to be a Dr. Pepper bottling plant. Sip on amazing wine varietals while swaying to music and enjoying a view of Boeing Field. Jet City features two tasting rooms, one paying tribute to the rustic Pacific Northwest, while the upstairs takes you back to the 60’s with old school decor and pieces that celebrate the aviation industry.
Another cool and trendy tasting room located in Georgetown, Mercer Estates brings its grapes from Eastern Washington to be enjoyed in their new artsy space. Guests can enjoy wine and learn all about the brand from their friendly, knowledgeable staff. They also offer full glass pours and encourage outside food!
With grapes located in Wall Walla Valley, Seven Hills is one of the region’s oldest and most respected wineries. Their second tasting room, located in Pioneer Square at The Estates Wine Room allows guests to not only taste their delicious offerings, but also enjoy pours of their sister properties wine – Archery Summit and Double Canyon. Guests are also able to enjoy wines by the glass and food pairing experiences.
