I know Seattleites seem to talk about the weather a lot. Either it’s gray and dreary and we’re trying to find fun, indoor activities or the sun shines so bright that you stay outdoors from dusk till dawn. Luckily, we’re in the time of year of the latter and one of the most fun attractions our city offers is Pike Place Market. And when the sun is shining, the market glitters and gleams! You could get lost in all the shops, dining, trinkets, samples and more that the market offers guests. We’ve put together a few of our favorite spots that you won’t want to miss when visiting.
Beecher’s Handmade Cheese
Beware, if you try this cheese, there is a good chance you will be ordering online and having it shipped to your home from here on out. Beecher’s is a Seattle staple that people lust after. You can receive an up-close view of exactly how the cheese is made at their store in Pike’s Market. Visitors can enjoy their glass-walled cheese making kitchens where they can witness first hand everything that is required to create this mouth-watering cheese everyone in Seattle can’t seem to get enough of. You can also taste samples of their cheese and order one of their delicious sandwiches as well as their “World’s Best” mac and cheese.
Pike and Western Wine Shop
Located at the edge of the market, this fun wine shop offers complimentary tastings, a wide array of local and national wines for purchase and an opportunity to join their wine club. Every Friday afternoon from 3pm-6pm, guests can enjoy three new wines for only $5. They also offer themed wine tastings. This is a great spot to stop in, enjoy a glass of vino and talk all things wine.
And don’t forget the CRAB! 
Wherever you choose to frequent when visiting Pike Place Market, you can’t go wrong. They have so many amazing vendors and with their recent addition, the MarketFront, visitors can enjoy even more options while enjoying amazing water views!
